I currently oversee corporate marketing and business development at Fuse.Cloud, formerly Broadband Voice, in Jackson, Mississippi. Over the last decade, the majority of my career has been focused on driving marketing efforts for the utility and telecommunications industries.
Prior to joining Broadband Voice, I managed global marketing efforts for the electricity business line at Itron, a technology provider for electric, water and gas utilities worldwide, based near Spokane, Washington.
I graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in Communication Studies (emphasis in Public Relations) from Mississippi College. After Mississippi College, I earned a master of arts degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Alabama.
I was an public relations intern for Godwin Group in Jackson while at Mississippi College. At Alabama, I served as the advertising manager for the University of Alabama campus newspaper, The Crimson White.
I recently served as the executive director of TeamJXN, a community effort to drive positive momentum Jackson, Mississippi. In 2016, I was honored as one of the "Top 50 Women in Business" by the Mississippi Business Journal (MBJ). In 2015, I was chosen as one of MBJ's "Top 50 under 40" in the state.
I am a 2010 graduate of Leadership Greater Jackson (LGJ), a programs of the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership. I proudly served on the LGJ Board of Directors as the marketing chairperson for four years. I also served on the Board of Directors for the Young Professionals Alliance (YPA) of Jackson for five years. Also, for five years, I supported communication and marketing efforts for Fondren Church as well as other non-profits throughout the state.
My husband, Jay, and I recently began an adventure transitioning from Jackson to the town of Laurel, Mississippi, where he serves as the worship director at Agape Church. We welcomed our first son, Levi, on August 3, 2016.
